NickK
The 16ic is a very tried and tested camera. My mono gives low noise images and is still my guide cam.I've used it for bright objects and for imaging at SGL6 (5 minute subs). The limitation is that it's USB 1.1 so it's image transfer limits the overall framerate. It also doesn't have set point cooling (just on/off). It's only 659x459 (if memory serves me) so OSC is going to loose some resolution compared to the mono. The Titan replaces the 16ic but with USB2.0 and thus a far higher continuous framerate. Si W
I'll second Nick on that, I also use the 16ic mono as a guide camera with my guide scope and PHD, it's an excellent little camera with low noise.
Stephen
Great for a first camera, but you will want to upgrade later (And as mentioned above, has a future use as a guider.)
