No persieds but NCL/aurora bonus.

Recommended Posts

A group of us went out to Dunnet Head to try and get a meteor or two.

Whilst i didnt manage to capture any we did get the bonus of a good NCL display

and the very pleasant surprise of faint aurora low on the horizon.

The final image is a 45 second exposure of the Cygnus area of the milky way

at some ridiculous iso setting.1280 i think.

Nice images you have got there.

Thanks Jack,i am more than happy with them but more importantly ,we all had a good time ooohing and aaahing at the meteors as they fizzed across the sky.

The aurora and NCL were a real bonus so a great night was had by all.
