Pipe Nebula, and some Barnards

Hi everyone !

Here's a picture of one of my favorite part of the Milky Way, the Pipe Nebula, set between the Scorpius and Sagitarius constellations.

18 x 6 sec subs @ ISO 3200, 5 darks, 5 offset/bias

Unmodded 5DmkII, 85 f/1.2 @ f/1.2, and my trusty tripod

Preprocessing and processing with PixInsight 1.7, resize and color balance with Photoshop CS5.

Fabulous image. Wow you must have some incredible dark skies to get such detail with 6 sec subs even at F1.2 @ 3200iso.

My home is in a good spot for astronomy, about 2-3 on Bortle Scale, which is pretty good knowing that there is a city not far from there ( about 4 miles/6 km ).
