orion skyglow 2" filter

Yes, I have the 2" version permanently screwed into my Diagonal so that it is always in use. Unfortunately i got it after the shorter nights started so haven't been able to check it fully on a decent night but it seem to do the trick and works well. The image is slightly darker I guess but it is hard to tell visually as you have nothing to reference with.

this filter gets rave reviews on c.n, but its not expensive compared to some..

I tried a 1.25" Orion Skyglow (which is a broadband filter) for a while but I found it's effects very slight at best. I then moved on to narrowband in the form of a Baader UHC-S and thence to an Orion Ultrablock which was better still - a very effective filter and not too expensive. My Ultrablock was a 2".
