Moonrise timelapse

From last Monday a timelapse of the moonrise which was eventually clouded out. The way the clouds move in different directions at different heights is cool though.

10mm lens, 10 second exposures, 500 frames.

Very atmospheric There is a lot of flicker in the video have you tried using VirtualDub and its deflicker plugin to reduce the effect?

No- haven't tried that, will give it a go. Flicker can be a problem when the cameras auto exposure function tries to vary the exposures from shot to shot. This is normally only a problem in daylight timelapses. I thought I had turned the camera from apperture priority mode to manual but maybe I hadn't? The jumping around seems more obvious in the opening frames and then settles down later when the 10 seconds set on the intervalometer overides the auto exposure?
