Can you recommend a suitable right angled rdf if one exsists, Viv???? Or perhaps I should try and have a go with the supplied standard finder scope when I get the thing? Give it the benefit of the doubt. Then if I still don't like it then I can do something about it afterwards!!

TBH - no, I've always preferred the no sides finder, so it's not something i've looked as closely.

I did look for a bit & sound this (but ouch !) : http://www.365astronomy.com/baader-variofinder-10x60-w-astro-lens-45degree-prism-mqr-iv-p-2277.html

Just doing a google there is this one : http://www.365astronomy.com/skywatcher-9x50-rightangled-finderscope-p-2454.html?zenid=faf4773d6284596513859c553f804a5d

If you're ever down this way (after I get it), you'd be more than welcome, to have a look see if it's usable, with the standard ............

Well even though I haven't had the opportunity to look at one in the flesh (as everywhere is sold out) I went ahead and ordered one from FLO the other day (see my other post). Just got to play the waiting game now. From all the other people who own them and have nothing but good things to say, I don't think I will be dissapointed.

With this rubbish weather and the light nights I wouldn't be able to use it at the mo anyway. Roll on Autumn.
