New scope, SPX 250 F4.8 EP Advice.

You really need to stay around the 30mm mark to get an optimum exit pupil size in my opinion. I have the same scope that you do and I use a Nagler 31mm (82 degree FoV) as my max widefield eyepiece. Under less than the darkest skies though I find the 20mm Nagler gets used more often as the background sky is darkened more which helps pick out the fainter DSO's a little better. The Nagler 31mm gives me a true field of 2.12 degrees.

I think Explore Scientific do a 30mm 80 degree eyepiece which is pretty good and less expensive than the Nagler. The UWAN / Nirvana 28mm is another good ultrawide option.
