according to sw, the tube weight of the 250px is 15kg, which is 4kg heavier than the 200p. but what about the base? they both come in at 52cm diameter so is the same base used for the 200p and the 250px? just trying to get an idea how much more the 250px weighs, if it is only 4kg i am sure i could manage that.

Skyliner solid tube. Am hoping the base is the same a the 200p ,I can live with an extra 4kg

You haven't got to carry it in one piece. You can carry the base and OTA seperately if required.

Its just more convenient if I can light it all in one piece. Across kitchen, out the door, up 3 steps into garden and I'm set up, nice if I can do it all in one go, the less fumbling around in the dark the better.

I've picked one up and I was surprised how light it was, I'm a big guy but no bodybuilder, unless you are a 9 stone weakling I'd guess you should be Ok
