80 Meade Refractor with Orion StarShoot IV Imaging Camera

This is my first light of the moon. I actually bought this refractor as a donor OTA for my Coronado PST mod. Still waiting on some parts so am using it in the meantime as a quick back yard telescope, and tonight was crystal clear.

These are my first ever lunar images.

Yeah still going to be a donor ota. But can easily take off the erf and slide the focusing tube off the pst black box adapter, to use anytime for the dark side.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Couldn't quite figure out what was esthetically pleasing. But agree, my layer 6 wavlet was maxed, too sharp, prolly look better smoothed out a bit.
