Nebula/Galaxy's

Hey Guys,

Im just wondering as a new astronomer, In sky's at the moment, is there any good Nebula's or Galaxy's that are visible?

I am from England Somerset if this helps with a 150p skyliner dob

I havent had the mose successful time browsing on the web to find this out but what better way to ask experienced Astronomers anyway

you need to download stellarium. it will tell you what's in the sky, when and where.HTH

As above, try Stellarium and check out M81 / M82 in Ursa Major or some of the Coma and Virgo galaxies (these will be harder to find).

A six inch scope will be capable of seeing well over one hundred galaxies (skies permitting) though only the brightest will impress.

You could also try this site http://tonightssky.com/MainPage.php - With your coordinates added, it can tell you what you can see as well as you saying the level of difficulty in magnitude that you are happy with. It's an informative site.
