Hi

I'm looking for some inspiration, for tonight, kit is in my signature. I have good views South and West. East is restricted and North is grim due to London light pollution. Would really like to capture Nebula rather than galaxy's. Tips appreciated

Regards

John B

I going to give M81 and M82 a try. After that I'm going to give it a break until late August, when I think it should start to get properly dark again.

Planets should still be ok (Saturn, a slither of Venus, Mars). Clusters.

If you have good views to the south you could try the Trifid Nebula its a bit low down and behind trees for me though. Most of the stuff I am wanting to image right now is behind trees or to far over to the east or north you should also have try at the sombrero and needle galaxy if you have not done so yet they are amazing.

Cool website you have there as well.
