Hmmm not the best M63....

So i managed to get out in the garden for the first time since i moved in. Im not too impressed really, I knew the LP was going to be bad, but it is really bad

I thought i would have a go at M63, i didnt realise just how small this one would be in my GT81.

Canon 500D and SW LP Filter

HEQ5 Pro Synscan guided with ST80, QHY5, PHD

Thats not too bad, light pollution is a pain no doubt but there is quite a lot of data in there to draw out still I think. Any way its just plain good to be able to go out at all with all this cloud we have had to endure dont you think.

Keiran, your result is not bad. Your focus is slightly off... Try to make a Bahtinov mask and use it with x10 LiveView zoom
