Well I finally had my first light, the seeing wasn't very good but nonetheless....... I saw the whirlpool galaxy! Awesome! Then I found the Pinwheel Galaxy! Then the Double cluster!

Had a look at some double stars, I found them quite addictive.

One thing I discovered, which I'm sure everyone knows is that a Dob mount is rather challenging when viewing straight up. Also I just realised I forgot to look at the planets, oh well something to look forward to tomorrow night.

i'm still struggling with the pinwheel..but the arms in the whirlpool make up for the"miss"aren't these dob's great!!

I found M81 and 82 for the first time but failed to find the whirlpool with my 127 Mak, what would be a good EP to use for it?
