As good old Winston said, "Never say no...never, never, never!", so go for it! If your sky is even moderately dark, a 4" can detect fuzzies down to about 12th mag when near the zenith. Besides, there's nothing like a good observing challenge. Good luck and let us know how you made out.

Thanks for posting I might give C/2011 UF305 a shot (if/when the weather clears). Should be within range of my scope.
