Hi Ally8446.

I have done a couple of courses run by UCLAN (University of Central Lancashire) at Preston. They do distance learning, and I have done both astronomy and cosmology. It also included a weekend away at their observatory in the Ribble valley. Very impressed. I'm thinking of doing some more, and you can build them up into a qualification, very much like the OU.

I have to say that I don't find Planet Earth Education's website very reassuring. It all looks rather cheap and amateurish.

I agree, the website looks more like a blog than anything else.
