Hi all, I have been waiting for the cel 925 ota to come in but I must admit im getting impatient.So i am starting to wonder whether the edge hd 8" was worth considering.(its IN STOCK) The aperture is smaller and the price is bigger and also I believe that they have not yet brought out a focal reducer! but going down in aperture would I really lose so much and would I gain with a better ota?

Hi all, forget it, I know im going to lose alot of light pulling power and have just found out that the f/r is still not available.

The Edge HD is like your ACF: it has a better corrected field of view. If you're taking photos with it you may care. If you're not taking photos you probably will not. Up to you, though.

Wait for the 9.25 then wait for the clouds to clear, astronomy is a patience "marathon".

Thanks Guys but what If I was to move up to the c11?.....It is just within my budget. Do you think the 3/4 hundered quid more is worth it?
