FYI, I noticed a Fujinon 10 x 70 FMT-SX for sale on ABS.

Price is £340, well under half of new price...

Out of curiousity, did anyone on SGL buy it I wonder?

I bet they are superb to look thorugh but to me they seem a slightly odd size - probably too heavy to handhold and if you're going to put something on a tripod, maybe you'd want something a little bigger and/or more powerful? Also, a 7mm exit puptil?

I think that's why most people would prefer the Fuji 16x70's to the 10's for stargazing use.

Slightly off topic. There is a pair of Fujinon nebula filter on fleabay at the moment and should complement this 10x70 very well.
