Sorry, it was 3x30second exposures with an 18mm lens, 1600 iso and with a canon 400d. I will post another image now.

The constellations are Canis Minor, Orion, and Taurus, with the Hyades and Pleiades. Where's the campsite located? .

1 hour South of Bordeaux

Parentis En Born or Gastes is one of the closest towns.

You caught some stars during the exp[osure, but how much better they would have been without all that light pollution.

Anyway, I'm sure you enjoyed your holiday./

If you plan further sky shots on holiday, Choose a site where the lights are not so severe. Difficult though, not many cater for Astrophotography.
