Baader BCF Filter mod for Canon 450D

I have just placed an order for the replacement Baader BCF filter for my Canon 450D. I have a quick question for those who may of already performed this mod.

Q) Would you recommend that I also remove the front Low Pass Filter (Anti-Aliasing/Dust Shaker filter) as well as the low pass 2 (IR cut) filter.

I know that on Gary Honis's site (the tutorial I'm going to use to perform the Mod) he leaves this front filter in place. I understand removing it will improve sharpness but may result in some nasty side effects for daytime photgraphy.

Unless you want to access and image in the NIR, the front filter can be left in place.

(BTW - You only need to replace the colour balance filter if you need accurate standard lens focusing - the front AA filter already acts as a very good UV-IR blocker)
