I have a birthday coming up and want some new Ep's.Hopefully my new 200p dob will be here by the end of the month so any suggestions on what ones to look at.I prefer planetary and nebula observations if that helps.Also should i get them in 1.25" or 2" as i think the skyliner can use both.

How generous are your birthday presents ?

There is a huge range in eyepiece costs (£20 - £500 plus) so it would be helpful to know what ballpark we might be talking about.

For £80-ish the Panaview 2" 32mm is probably the best bet for a low power, wide field eyepiece (always nice to have). Trouble is that UK stock is almost non-existent currently and there is no obvious alternative without breaking the £100 barrier.

For higher powers a 7mm Celestron X-Cell LX @ £69.00 would be a nice choice I reckon.

I'm sure others will suggest alternatives in due course

Hi Peter, +1 for the SW PanaView 32mm plus a UHC filter or OIII for nebs?

You could have a look on UK Astronomy Buy & Sell. There are a few Baader Hyperions going for £65 - £70 and they work well in my 200P dob
