solar filters

ive never really read up on these, obviously i know all the safety things..however im interesting in the quality

so first....what filters can i use with my heritage 130?

also what type view can i expect? i googled it but find it a little confusing

First, cant stress the safety stuff enough, specially if you have kids - unfiltered views will permanently blind!

Ok, so thats out of the way, get some solar film from FLO and make your own, for your scope and finder.

It will show you sun spots easily and very nicely

If you question your ability to make one, they sell them on the decent telescope optics sites.

right, thanks ill look further into that, probably look for a pre made one...im not daft or anything....just errr ...extremely useless in creating anything other than a disaster
