Hi Folks,

The encouragement from one and all resulted in me trying more Lunar. Got a bit adventurous as the sky was very clear, and I took th sky out in broad daylight without fully understanding the repercussions. Well you folks would be able to explain that ebtter to me after a look at these pics may be.. :D

Back to the topic, it was close to 9pm here at the east anglian skies, absolutely clear blue sky and the lunar seen in broad daylight. Did not try aligning. Focussed on the moon, changed the eyepiece to the webcam refocussed approximately to match a larger eyepiece, waited for the moon to drift in, refocussed again for hopefully better focus this time, and moved the scope away for the moon to drift in, this time in pretty decent focus.

Please pass on your comments on these well nearly maiden effort in daytime lunar photography.

Also, can someone please, help me identify the areas of moon that've been photoed?

You are doing great Prasad. Since you have only recently started imaging, you have to be pleased with what you have done.

It would help others to help you, if you provide information with your pictures, regarding scope, exposure, method, ie prime focus, afocal, or eyepiece Barlow projection.

You are coming along fine.

Ron. :D

Thanks folks.. I used a philips toucam pro with 5 fps and Meade ETX 90PE at prime focus. Focussing was achieved by the supplied focusser in the telescope looking at the laptop screen. I stacked about 5 images in registax and did some tuning in photoshop.

I have, since then tried and done some work with some more photos. Please do have a look at these too and pass on your comments and help me identify them please..
