NGC 6888 - Crescent Neb - 18/19-7-07

Had a go at this last night. 30X2min at 800 iso with 350D.

Tried to do an LRGB with the SXV but did not come out well. Not very sure about the procedure , will have to study this a bit.

PS I have added the LRGB image that did not come out very well.

I think I needed much longer exposure , as the Neb is hardly visible on the final frame.

The second one's a bit overbaked, but the first one's great! It's right in the middle of the Cygnus Milky Way, so of course there are a lot of stars!

Yep your right. I did not give each colour enough exposure. I suppose the Astronomik filters allow less light through. This is the first LRGB image I have ever done and I think I need to practice this procedure
