New Atik 460EX Camera

The new Atik 460EX CCD camera features the new Sony ICX694 sensor with the same EXview HAD CCD II technology present in the Atik 428EX but with more than twice the number of pixels and, most importantly, over twice the image sensor area. It also features similar high sensitivity, excellent QE and low noise characteristics as the 428EX.

The camera is available to order today for delivery early April.

When I finally get round to posting some results from the 428 Mike you'll wee a lot

With such small pixels you can bin 2x2 and get excellent sensitivity. It's good enough for me to have just spent 30 odd hours imaging at f10

Hats off to Atik for build quality, useablility, styling and results with these cameras! I'm very impressed.
