MattGoo
Went out about 9pm last night with my telescope, binoculars & imaging kit, and set up in the footy field round the corner from m flat as normal.I was looking in the telescope, then saw some torch lights dancing around the field near me. I turned around and saw two people in reflective jackets with torches stood in the gateway.Man1: “Not sure, what is it?”Me: “Hello?”Man2: “S**t, there’s somebody there!”I started walking over and it turned out to be two Police Community Support Officers on their local beat. We had a chat, and I took them back over to the telescope and showed them Venus and the Moon – they loved it. Seemed like nice guys and said they’d look out for me if they’re in the area on clear nights. It will probably be fairly decent viewing tonight, but I think I’ll watch Milan v Barca instead - whilst processing the image data I took last night Matt
