That's mainly because, unlike my checklist and finder charts, it's not specifically Messier-oriented. But that leads to another thought: do people think it may be useful if BinocularSky - Object Selection had filters for Messier objects (and maybe others like Caldwell or Herschel 400)?

I'm gonna give yours a go tonight. But looking it might be useful for a filter expess a bin version of the messer challenge or Caldwell one
