What should I have brought???

I've just brought (awaiting delivery) a Skywatcher SP Plossl 6.3mm EP. I now think I should have brought the Vixen NPL 10 or 15 mm EP for £10 more. My scope focal lenght 1000mm f/7 60mm.

I've ordered the EP from FIRST LIGHT OPTICS online is it possible to return the EP and then buy the other one or have I just's made a newbie mistake and should just learn from it??

I just got the 15mm NPL on special offer from FLO, it's a very good ep better than the SW for sure, but 6.3mm is a high magnification so maybe a 10mm NPL would suit you better? They are a good dealership and will exchange without a problem I'm sure!

As above - FLO are very accommodating, give them a call/email and I'm sure they'll help you out.

The 6.3mm gives you a magnification of 158, thats not to high and with good seeing will show some nice views, stick with it and when the wallets topped up go for the mediums sizes....

I also think that the 6.3mm will be ok for you with your scope focal length; will be nice for planetary & double stars
