M106 - work in progress

SO far I've got 4.5 hours data on this, but well over half of that is poor quality. A mix of mostly 3 and 4 minute subs all at ISO800. I've been plagued by guiding problems recently which I think I've sorted out now so hopefully I'll be able to start going for longer subs again.

I've really had to process this hard to get anything like a decent image out of it, so I'm not done with it yet. Next chance I get I will be adding more data - hopefully better quality and longer subs to get the fainter detail.

Thought a labelled version might be useful to show what the fainter fuzzies are.

I think this is a wonderful image! I would be very very happy with this. I think the process is very good.

A very nice image- some longer subs will bring out the details in the arms of M106 and pump up the fuzzies too. Nice one
