SW 8''auto truss dob

Does anyone have any experience of the Skywatcher auto tracking dobs. I'm going to get an SW 8'' dob and have seen a truss dob with the motorised mount. Any good?

Lots and lots of people with the 200 or 250 on here. I have the 10" (250) goto so not the same scope you mention but the flextubes are good scopes, good value and easy to transport. Some people have had trouble with tracking on the SW models.

I have the 300p truss and tracking is fine for visual even at highish mag.

Hi,

I have the 8" skywatcher Auto Flextube, I'm very happy with it.

The build quality in my opinion for the price is excellent & transporting is easy, if done in two parts.

I've tightend the clutch, recommended here (many thanks) which has solved the the problem with the OTA being top heavy.

This is my first scope & the views of Jupitor, Orion & the moon are fantastic.

PS - I should have said the goto and tracking on mine are just fine
