Skywatcher 150 Or 200 Newtonian?

Just trawling through the endless scope suppliers websites and have decided in my infinite wisdom to put AP on hold for a but and just concentrate on observing.

But with this in mind I'd like to get a decent sized Reflector so in the future I can piggyback an 80ED refractor for AP.

Should I go for a 150 or 200 and should I get one with a GoTo mount or not worry for now and upgrade later?

Any suggestions on what to buy?

My budget is around £700 at the very most.

All your questions are answered by "how much can you afford"...I would buy as big an aperture as you can afford, cos you'll only want to upgrade later and that will end up costing more. I started without a GoTo and later got the upgrade kit for the EQ5, that spread the cost a bit but again, if you can afford it.........
