Not got round to trying it yet. That is to say, I've re-installed the display and connected the new cable to it but not finished assembling the camera as yet.

I've been sorting out the cooling arrangements using the stripped down camera to check where things will fit etc. I think I've just about worked it out and will be stripping down the working camera and swapping imaging assemblies, putting the Peltiers on the just modified cold finger and imaging assembly. Then I shall reassemble that and test it. If all's well I'll reassemble the non-working camera and see what's what with that.

Did the imaging assembly swap, having removed the long cold finger. Reassembled both cameras. NO change! The working camera still works the non-working still doesn't No sign of any life whatsoever! It' as if there's no battery or the on/off switch doesn't work or the battery door switch doesn't work.
