First lunar photos....

I'm very new to imaging, so the moon has been a good place to start. I posted these elsewhere, but was advised to share them a little more prominently.

I know they're a little basic, but hopefully I'm on the right track. Both taken with my Canon 1100D.

First image was taken a couple of days ago. Single exposure of 1/100 at ISO 100 snapped directly with the camera. Slight colour adjustment and sharpening done in Photoshop.

Second image taken last night with x2 barlow. Avi captured in BackyardEOS, 100 frames, ISO 100, exp 1/10. Stacked and post-processed in Registax.

And I've just noticed the orientations don't match, sorry about that. :)

Two exellent images - well done. Just a suggestion - try dropping the exposure for the single frame shots to around 1/200 - 1/500 sec and run off about 40-60 frames, then stack them in Registax5 - I think you'll appreciate the difference!
