Skywatcher Quattro Imaging

Recommended Posts

I Would be wary of a quattro because they are very fast - F4 - so collimation has to be perfect and I imagine would need to be tuned every session. The quattros are also big scopes with substantial focal lengths, so they are more tricky to use.

I got into astronomy in October last year, and bought the quattro in December, so my experience was minimal when I got it and I've had no issues.

I didn't touch the collimation till the beginning of last month as it was only fractionally out when it arrived, and I only touched it to see what effect it would have; as a noob I can't really see much difference, and it only takes a minute to check and adjust so it really isn't a worry.
