New purchase clouds, clear skies but no visibility!

I just received my recently purchased 26mm and 32mm this morning and had checked the weather to find there was only 9% cloud for tonight, perfect I thought.

Myself and my girlfriend had just been for a meal at her Dad's, we step out to find his neighbour on their shared path with a SW 130p goto. I shared a couple of words with him and admired how clear Jupiter was. We head into Sainsbury's to do our shop, only to come out and find an ungodly mist has settled on the area, visability had been reduced to mere feet.

It's just not fair! I have a free evening, the moon isn't that bright and there's hardly any cloud... I just can't see any of it!
