Fantastic night with new 10" Dob

Last night was a terrific observing session for me - out there for hours, completely lost track of time, spent ages just admiring the view of a whole bunch of great objects: M37, M35, M44, the Blue Snowball, M65/66, Jupiter, Mars, and Eta Cass.

One of those nights that makes you remember why you do astronomy.

I agree, it was a great night last night. The best for me was M51 using the 12" Dob simply stunning.

I can almost feel your excitement..

I also have a 10 inch but focus on galaxies...

Have you tried M81/M82 with a wide angle lens in the dob...stunning!

Was good last night wasn't it I had the neighbours round to look at the moon early evening. I think they're hooked
