am sure the views are superb with your 14" would love to have a look at Omega Centauri using it :D

Clear Skies :)

Unfortunately I live in a light polluted city :)

But the scope and mount do fit into the car, and I do have a dark site in mind :(

Omega will be on my list for sure:)

Skippy predicted great seeing, but it was ordinary, and a bit of gusty wind at times.

But they are only predictions based on general conditions. As you say, local influences can change all that.

I tend to go out at about 1am for a quick look, and quickly back to bed if it is rubbish :(

Every now and then I strike it lucky.

Looks like you guys are clouded out ATM??

I hope it clears soon
