first telescope

Hi everyone need some advice i want a telescope not sure what to buy.I want it fairly portable good for planatary observation moon and deep and dsos ive got £300 to spend any help most grateful.

Hi, to be honest, that's a tall order for £300, the only thing that I would recommend that covers all of your viewing requirements is a 200P Dob, but they are probably not as portable as you would like. There is the Evostar 102 frac here: First Light Optics - Skywatcher Evostar 102 (EQ3-2)

This will be portable, but won't be great for DSO's.

thanks for that what about a sky-watcher 102 mak-cassegrain (eq2) is that about the same if i could stretch to £350 would that make a difference.
