SH2-240 full view with colors

Hello,

This one was around the top of my winter's todo list : SH2-240 (Simeis 147) with my 200mm lens for a full view and in color.

So here is the resulting image:

=> 4h30 for Ha and 2h for OIII, 15min subs.

=> Canon 200mm f/2.8L ; Atik4000 ; Astrodon Ha & OIII 5nm filters. The visualisation is "(H+O)HoO".

Stunning, I am so impressed at the capabilities of that lens. Mind you the CCD is pretty capable as well Is that the one shot colour version or the mono? Also what tracking device are you using with that setup?

Symesie, my Atik is the "M" one. Much more efficient for narrow band imaging. My tracking system in this configuration is :

- FDSQ106 as guiding scope

- Philips webcam

- Guidemaster soft

- Orion Atlas mount
