xbox live cam ccd?

Despite some searching on the net I'm still unable to figure out if the xbox live cam has a ccd chip or a cmos.

I'm hoping to use it as a guide camera, does anyone know if it has a ccd, is it sensitive enough to see stars for guiding?

Can't find anything either. The references to it being a CCD and not a CMOS seem to be "I think it is a CCD" or similar. Unless someone can provide a link to a site that gives definitive evidence of the sensor being a CCD I'm assuming the chip is a CMOS. I shouldn't bother worrying if the sensor is a CCD or CMOS, if it is sensitive enough that's all that matters, try it out. Modern CMOS sensors are alot better than they used to be.
