110 Ah battery - Leisure or Deep Cycle?

Recommended Posts

Daz a deep cycle battery and a leisure battery are one and the same. (more or less)

It just depends on where /what its being used for that determines the name.

I have a 90ah battery and that will run all my kit all weekend and then some....

So your 110ah battery will do the job mate no probs...

The charger is nearly the same price as the battery if you get a good one.

Mine can be left on permanent trickle charge if i want...

Daz

As Jamie says they are the same.

All leisure batteries are deep cycle.

Unlike a normal car battery they can be run down to pretty well flat and still charge up to full wack, not something recommended with a car battery.

I don't know what you're trying to run but my 110aH caravan battery will run the lights, water pump and a small TV for a week no probs.

Lo Daz

From what I remember the plates inside the battery You are after are a lot thicker than the normal automotive ones, so will be OK if run low and then recharged a few times (actually quite a few times).

Also as Jamie said Leisure and Deep Cycle are one in the same.
