Title says it all. I find that in smoggy Lyon the only time the sky is reasonably clear is when there's enough wind blowing - but that means the end of any effort to catching photons...

I saw in another thread a 175 kg pier on e-bay.... If only I could get that beast up to my balcony...

Even a light breeze can make things difficult. I pack up if the breeze is more than about 2kts. It might be different when I finally finish pouring the concrete in the obsvatory.

Last night wasn't so bad for me, but on Saturday I gave up trying to image Mars because it was impossible to get a stable picture thanks to the gusting wind. I got the ST120 out instead and found M61 and the Sombrero Galaxy, neither of which I've managed to see before.
