6" Dob eyepieces.

Hi,

Could someone tell me how to optimise the performance of a 6" dob i.e., eyepieces or whatever. Thanks for your help.

Collimate it.

If it is not collimated then the results will always be low.

Will suggest the now almost standard BST Explorer eyepieces, now called Starguider I believe.

Probably the 8mm and 12mm later the 25mm and eventually the 5mm for high magnification. Don't go looking for as much as possible at first.

After that very little just keep it in collimation.
