Picture taken at twilight, with my handy HP Photosmart E327. Through my 24mm SWA, cropped from 3mp. I'll have to start using my SLR, I guess. You can see why I said that Aristoteles and Eudoxia just jump out at you.

Not at all, I like that, thank you! I don't know how to do stuff like that at present. I am still a visual astronomer, and probably really will be all the time. The picture looks much better like that.

It's a decent image taken with a camera not really designed for astro work. Your SLR will give you more control WH.

Zhgutas has done a job on the overexposed areas. The exposure at that stage in the phase, can be difficult to get right. Bracketing them can help a lot. Something I'm not sure you could do with the camera you used WH.
