Hi there,

Winter has finally set foot to The Netherlands and after about 3 months with nothing but clouds, fog and rain, the skies have cleared at last. Unforunately the moon was out there and getting brighter by the day (or night :-)), but after such a long time catching dust, you'll losen up a bit and just get out there to image as the hunger has to be stilled.

On Tuesday night I shot Leo I, a local group dwarf galaxy very close to Regulus in Leo. Had some troubles with the equipment early on and later on it turned out that my mount had probably received a bump when I was out (volleybal practice). Didn't check it when I got back and started the session. So I ended up with 10x10 mins subs (1 hrs 40 min ISO 800), 11 darks, 20 bias, and 40 flats. Captured with Nebulosity 2.4.4, data reduction DSS 3.3.0 (Kappa-Sigma), and post-processing with PS CS3 (Carboni and Anni's Astro Actions, GxT, HLVG)

On Wednesday night I started with M81/82 for 5 hours (30x10 min ISO 800) and switched to NGC2903 afterwards for another 4 hrs 30 min (27x10 min ISO 800). Support frames: 16 darks, 20 bias, 40 flats and processed identical to Leo I.

Thanks for watching.

Lovely images, I love to observe NGC 2903. It is bright enought to spot with my 80mm bins. With my 10 inch scope I can see four of the stars in your close up! The faintest being the below the galaxy in the image at the bottom of the pic..Mag 12.7 I believe..
