Where can I get some aluminium plate ?

I'm looking to build a concrete pier for an EQ6 mount and I'm trying to find some where that can supply me with a couple of 6-8 inch square, heavy gauge plates that I can use as the base onto which I want to a place the mount. Any ideas ?

Try Ambermile. Arthur might have some offcuts that he'll let you have from his wedge projects. He'll at least know where to get them from if he has none.

Do a search on ebay for aluminium plate. I did and got a 1000 mm x 50mm x 13mm to make my dovetail.

They had lots of varying sizes of plate aluminium, and there are a few suppliers to choose from.
