StarryEyes
Has anyone ever heard of this? I only heard of it recently from a friend. To me it just looks and sounds the same as Afocal imaging people tend to use it for photographing birds etc.
Photosbykev
it's an old technique which can produce some good results BUT the success rate is extremely low as the technique requires a lot of time to align the scope on the target, manually focus, then put the camera to the scope and take a relatively long exposure. It is mainly used by bird watchers/twitchers for capturing a record of the rarer birds. kharga
These were digiscoped! Nikon 885 on Kowa 885 spotting scope. You attach the camera to the scope then focus the scope using the camera screen. An APO/HD scope is best because of the tighter control of colour fringing.
