12nm Ha eos clip and the sun

hello if i try to image the sun with my modded canon 450D and an eos hydrogen alpha 12nm clip what results could i expect?

You may just cook your camera!

The DSO Ha filter is no good for solar.

The Ha used for solar observing is a completely different animal and has a VERY narrow bandwith - 0.8A (0.08nm). That's why they are so expensive.

Using a While light Baader Solar film and a green or Continuum filter will give good and safe views of the solar surface.
