4:30pm: Home from a day out in the clear lancashire skies

5:00pm: Scope outside to cool down

5:45pm: Eyepieces ready, power pack unplugged, coat and hat on

6pm: Step outside and.............clouded over!

So frustrating! Lets hope it clears later!

I love building scopes and other stuff thats related, it keeps me sane on the 335 cloudy days a year.

Whats worse is that of the 30 clear nights only 10 are stable and only 1-3 are excellent.

Its worth the wait. has anyone seen my camel its blue !!!!!

I like talking about doing astronomy for 360 days a year. The other 5 days ( clear nights) make up for the rest.
