a mess around with m81 with no stars

after messing aroun trying to process m81 and m82 and failing i thought i would have a mess around with m81 as it was the better looking one and better framed so i took away the stars and tryed to get as much detail out as posible of the sprial arms i kida like it might not be to every ones tast but let me know what you think.

I prefer pics with no stars to be honest. I just see them as noise, like looking through a net curtain to the street outside. Granted, they're beautiful, and i could look at clusters all night long, but pictures like the above really give an impression of serenity as these huge and complex structures drift through the vast nothingness.

Yes that looks great with out the stars make it have a feeling of depth and a majesty all of its own nice capture.
