Been reading the eyepices thread and seeing what i might need. But then i came accross these on Amazon and was just wondering would these be ok to get me started?

Not exactly got the ones that are "suggested" for an f/8 scope which is why i wanted to post this question to find out if i should invest the money or not.

personally i wouldnt go that way. im going to get a couple of individual ep's of a bit better quality for less money as ive read that filters are not that important for just observing.

The GSO super plossls are well worth a look at.

hmm looking at super Plossl EP's i think i might go that route instead.. thanx for the info will do more searching :-)

Super plossls are the same as normal plossls these days - it's just a marketing term.

The GSO plossl's are a great set, as long as you don't have to wear spectacles when looking through an eyepiece.

The trouble is they are a bit expensive, but obviously well worth the money, great quality.
